Privacy Policy — AEO Site Speed & AI SEO Audit

Last updated: 15 September 2026

Who we are

AEO Site Speed & AI SEO Audit ("the App") is a Shopify app that measures storefront speed, third-party script cost, image weight, conversion funnel metrics and structured-data readiness for the merchant who installs it. Contact: tech@parulgargbeauty.com.

What we collect

From the merchant's Shopify store (via the Shopify Admin API): the store's myshopify domain; product titles, IDs and image URLs and dimensions (for the image audit); theme names and theme publish events (for the change log); daily order counts and totals (for conversion rate). We do not read customer names, emails, addresses or payment details, and we do not store order line items.

From the merchant's storefront (via the "Site Health monitor" theme app embed): anonymous page-timing data (Core Web Vitals such as LCP, INP, CLS, TTFB), the page type and path, device class (mobile/desktop), the connection type reported by the browser, the hostnames and timing of scripts loaded on the page, and anonymous funnel events (page view, add to cart). A random visitor identifier is stored in the visitor's browser localStorage to count unique visitors. It is not linked to any personal information, is not shared with third parties, and is not a tracking cookie. No IP addresses, names, emails or cart contents are collected by the App.

How we use it

Solely to provide the App's features to the merchant: dashboards, alerts, audits and recommendations. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties other than the infrastructure providers below.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on servers operated by Render (application hosting and PostgreSQL database), in the Singapore region, protected by TLS in transit and access controls at rest. Raw timing events are retained for up to 90 days; daily aggregates are retained while the App is installed.

Deletion

When a merchant uninstalls the App, Shopify sends us an uninstall webhook and a shop-redact request 48 hours later; on receipt we delete all data associated with that store. Merchants can also request deletion at any time by emailing the contact address above. Because we store no customer personal data, customer data-request and customer-redact webhooks are acknowledged with no data to return or delete.

Merchant responsibilities

The storefront monitor collects only anonymous performance data and does not require visitor consent under most privacy laws; merchants remain responsible for their own storefront privacy notices and cookie banners.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and note the date above.
